Okotoks is a diverse community of over 30,000 souls. OAC seeks out ways to reach out to our local community in different ways inside the physical walls of the church and outside of them.

Benevolence Ministry

Our Benevolence Ministry exists to help those who have found themselves on hard times. Be it help with gas, groceries, or even a couple mortgage or utility bills, we will do what we can to help! If you have a need, or know of someone who does, please contact Valerie in our church office.

Meals Ministry Teams

Our meals ministry exists to provide hospitality to people in need, through the provision of meals. Some of the needs we envision (but are not limited to) are: those with a family member in hospital, or a family that have just had a baby, or individuals or families who have suffered the loss of a loved one, etc.

If you would like to make a request for meals, or if you would like to know more about how to help with the meals ministry, please contact Andrea Kuenstler.

Food Bank

Okotoks has a great Food Bank Association which faithfully provides quality food to people in need in Okotoks - coordinated by the mutual cooperation of all evangelical Churches in Okotoks. If you're in need, you can sign up for an appointment to receive an emergency hamper, or just go down to the food bank to grab some items from the 'self-serve shelves'. Around Christmas and Easter, the Food Bank puts together gift hampers for many people in town.

Consider joining our OAC Food Bank team, and serving in the foodbank once per rotation (about every 6-8 weeks). Contact Terry Lee for more info.
