A Memorization Sport with Eternal Value
At Quizzing, you'll gain a better understanding of scripture and make great friends by being part of a team! As you read your chapter and practice together, you’ll learn more about the context of the verses you are memorizing.
Throughout the year, teams also compete at tournaments across Alberta and individuals have potential to qualify for further competition with other districts. The more you read and study, the more questions you may be able to jump on in the Quiz game!

Each team of 3-5 quizzers has a coach who encourages, strategizes and helps develop unity. Your Quiz book also has extra features to help you memorize and audio CDs are available for extra practice. You can even get your whole family involved by reading scripture together!

2023-2024 Season
The OAC Bible Quizzing team meets every Tuesday from 6:30 - 8:30 pm at Okotoks Alliance Church. This year, we are studying Galatians, Ephesians, Philippians and Colossians.

Cost
About $300 for the year (covering district fees, tournaments, the finals camp weekend, cost for materials, t-shirts, misc. expenses).
