  • Dan Gaynor

    Dan is in his second term on our BOE and has served as Chairman for much of this time. He is married to Sarah and they have 2 grown daughters, and 3 grandchildren. Dan’s an executive coach, having spent his career in the world of newspapers, holding significant positions of leadership within the Southam organization, including Publisher of the Calgary Herald, before starting his own business. In addition to Jesus, Dan loves horses and alpine skiing, though he’d never put them in the same category. 

  • Terry Lee

    Terry is Lead Pastor and member of the BOE, since joining the church family in 2011. He and his wife Ann have 3 children, the older two are “launched” and their youngest is in Junior High. Ann works part time at Okotoks Chiropractic and Massage. Terry enjoys photography, skiing and music - he is volunteer Conductor and Musical Director of the Foothills Philharmonic Orchestra. 

  • Kevin McCubbin

    Kevin in his second term on OAC’s BOE, and is presently serving as Treasurer. He is married to Colleen and they've raised Kevin’s daughter, who’s now in university. Colleen manages the bookstore at Ambrose University. Kevin is a carpenter by trade, and works as a project manager. Kevin is an avid student of scripture and history, with a particular interest in the Protestant Reformation.   

  • Rolf Polan

    Rolf is serving his first term on our BOE and also serves on our Building Committee. He is married to Joy, and they have 4 grown daughters and 10 grandchildren. Rolf retired as a teacher with the Saskatoon School Division, and retired to Okotoks in 2012 to be close to their kids and grandkids. Rolf is an avid photographer and an able outdoorsman, having run camps and outdoor adventuring much of his life. 

  • Michael Packard

    Michael is the newest member to the BOE, beginning his first term in September 2017. Michael and his wife Helen are on staff at YWAM Turner Valley, where they teach the bible, disciple young adults and participate in sharing the hope of Jesus internationally. 

  • Mark Smithdorf

    Mark is in his first term on OAC’s BOE. He and his wife Mary have 2 grown daughters and a hobby farm full of horses, dogs (German Shepherds and Scotties) and enough cats to keep the mice at bay. Mark is senior partner in HOC’s Projects, a heavy oil consulting company in Calgary. 

  • Colin Toffelmire

    Colin is completing his second term on our BOE, having served as Secretary to the BOE these past 2 years. He’s married to Jinny and they have 3 children and lead busy lives. Jinny works for the Town of Okotoks as an environmental and sustainability specialist. Colin is ‘Dr. T’, professor of Old Testament at Ambrose University in Calgary.
